Tafseer-e-Usmani (Urdu)

A translation and commentary of The Glorious Qur'an, based on Tafseer-e-'Uthmani by 'Allamah Shabbir Ahmad 'Uthmani in three Volumes. Translation edited by the teachers of Madrasah Ayesha Siddiqua, Karachi. A well-known and regarded commentary in Urdu, Tafseer-e-'Uthmani was taken as the basis of this particular commentary, due to its brevity and simplicity. The original text has been amended and suplemented in order to introduce aspects which are of interest and importance to the modern believer, but were of little interest to its readers at the time it was first published, some 75 years ago.
